Happy Father's Day!
Last Sunday was Father's Day. I spent the day with my in-laws, having a great lunch, enjoy the sun, playing with water balloons and just enjoying time with my family. It was a beautiful day. Hope yours was as well!
Incredibles 2
Daniel and I were able to see the new Incredibles movie on opening night. It was a fun movie, filled with a lot of laughs. We thought the plot was too much like the original movie to really be a "triumph" but we'd definitely watch it again.
Summer Solstice
Yesterday was the official start of summer, with the Summer Solstice. After a long and hectic winter, it's been way too long. Time for lemonade, flip flops, tank tops and sun tans! Can't wait to get my favorite season of the year started.
Outdoor Clean Up
We've spent the week cleaning up our yard and deck, trying to get ready for the summer. We bought some great new deck furniture, new outdoor lights and a tabletop torch. Daniel mowed the yard, weedwhacked, trimmed the hedges. It's been hard work and we're only halfway there.
Camp NaNoWriMo
July is only 10 days away and with it comes the second session of Camp NaNoWriMo of this year. Interested in challenging yourself to write more next month? Then join me in my private cabin.
