NaNoWriMo Day 29

It's week four of four and we're nearing the end of NaNoWriMo. If you're lucky, you've already finished. If you're still working, that's great! You're so close to being done. Keep going.
I finished last week, thanks to a few nights of heavy writings and a very patient husband. This is fastest I've finished a NaNoWriMo project in my ten years of participation. Usually I'm waiting until the very last day and writing furiously, and adding in random descriptions to get to my deadline, but this is the first year that hasn't happened. In part this is because of some of the new techniques I tried and talked about in last Wednesday's update.
It also helps that I co-wrote this novel with Daniel. He definitely inspired certain plot twists that I doubt I'd think of on my own and his input into some of the characters was invaluable. There was some stress early on and I expected him to be a bit more involved in the day-to-day writing, but I'm confident we found the best solution for us both.
I'm not sure I'll be going back and editing Jack & Frank sometime soon. It's still a bit too fresh and I have some other projects I can work on. I might come back around to it in time for Camp NaNo in April. It definitely needs a lot of work and it will be a while before it's ready for anyone else to read.
