Writing Group

I got to meet with my writing group in person for the second time this week. Our Kidlit group normally meets on line every other week to share our work together, but we sometimes get the chance to meet in person at Bookmarks, our local bookstore, and its awesome. If you're a North Carolina resident and looking for a writing group for your YA novel, let me know and you may be able to join!

Violet Evergarden

I binge watched this anime this week. I was expecting an entertaining story and some nice art, but I was completely blown away by this show. The writing, the characters and the plot are all beautiful. I cried. A lot. And apparently there will be a second season and I can not wait!

Arrested Development

I've been watching this show on and off for a couple of weeks. This is my first time really watching the show, even though I know a lot about it from all the people I know who love it. With the new season coming out at the end of May, I figured I'd give it a shot.

Gorgeous Weather

It's finally warm, like WARM warm. Like summer dresses and rose warm. How can I be expected to stay inside and work when I could drink wine  on the porch, eat dinner out, catch a baseball game or go to the pool. I love it.
