Goal Check-Ins For 2019
We’re about halfway through 2019 and this is a great time for me to check in on my goals for the year. Sometimes as the months go by, it’s easy to lose sight of your goals, so I’m going to use this opportunity to remind myself what my hopes were back in January. I’m also hoping this will provide some motivation for me to catch up on the goals I’m behind on. So let’s take a look:
Lots Of Reading
This year I committed to reading 20 books in the year, including requested reviews for the blog and personal reading list. Due to a large amount of review requests at the beginning of the year, I’ve actually already surpassed my goal and have already read 21 books so far this year. Woohoo!
Writing As Fast As I Can
My goal in 2019 is write a full novel during each NaNoWriMo event, including CampNaNo in April and July. I was able to write most of my novel On The Rails in April, but was feeling pretty pretty burn out when it came time to commit to July Camp. Instead of writing a full novel this month, I’m write 500 words a day, a new prompt each day. So far, it’s going alright, but I’m missing about half the days, since it’s been a crazy busy month.
YOU!
This year, I'd really love to hear more from you, my readers. Please don't hesitate to post questions, comments, concerns, requests in the comments section below any blog post. Tell me what you did like, what you didn't like, what sorts of posts you'd like to see going forward. Anything at all! I want to talk to you and start a conversation. You can also reach me on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
